Lava announced the Iris X1 in the entry level smartphone segment and as the device received great success, the company has come up with the Iris X1 Grand and Iris X1 Mini respectively. The Lava Iris X1 Grand sports a 5-inch IPS display with FWVGA 854 x 480 resolution. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and comes powered by a 1.3GHz quad core MTK6582M processor, coupled with 1GB RAM. The device also bundles an Intelligent Flip cover that lets users access the phone’s functions without the need of switching to the main screen.
Iris X1 Grand also comes with an 8MP Rear camera, dual LED flash, auto focus, BSI II sensor, 2MP front-facing camera for video calling, 8GB Internal storage and microSD card support for up to 32GB. The connectivity options include USB v2.0, Bluetooth v4.0 and Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n).
