Panasonic KX-PRX120 Android DECT Cordless Smart Phone

Panasonic may have dropped off the chart as far as Android handsets for the EU market is concerned, but it has returned with another Android device and it isn’t a smartphone; it is a smart DECT cordless phone dubbed as the Panasonic KX-PRX120 DECT Cordless Phone. the KX-PRX120 is unique in many ways and first and foremost

Just a few days ago I wondered aloud if portable DECT/WIFI devices might not be an endangered species in light of mobile phones and very full featured UC clients. It appears a leader in portable phones, Panasonic, isn’t going to died while sitting down. It has announced the Android-base Panasonic KX-PRX120

the Panasonic KX-PRX120 has the kind of specs that would make us shake our collective heads were it positioned as a standard handset, but as far as cordless phones go, it's, well, certainly more exciting than what most people having sitting on their kitchen counters.

The phone has a 3.5-inch TFT touchscreen display, a microSD slot, a WIFI / Bluetooth interface and an optional answering machine. The device runs panasonic android 4.0 and gives you access to the Google Play store, so you can use it to Skype with help from its front-facing camera

Some other add ons of the device include call barring facility, caller ID, caller ID memory, 40 mins of answering machine backup, key finder accessory, 6 DECT handset support etc. You can even make video calls or install your favorite android applications on the device like your traditional smartphones
