The New year time where everyone hits the shops to get their bigger presents. For a lot of you this Holiday season, smartphones are going to be both expensive purchases and pretty common ones, too. We all want a new smartphone under the tree but, there are plenty of to choose from and if you’re determined to obtain the best there is for that special someone yourself,then you’re likely to enjoy this gift guide. It’s filled with what we consider the Top Android Smartphones you will find out there today and many of these might be on special offer this Holiday season.

Iphone 6

Apple is rumoured to unveil its next iPhone sooner than usual next year. If those leaks are to be believed, the iPhone 6 might break cover as soon as May of 2014. Leaving its 64-bit processor and it is Touch ID unchanged, Apple is anticipated to give its new handset a larger screen and possibly even a curved display, plus a larger RAM. Storage choices are said to remain the same on the new flagship, that will of course carry the next iOS build as they are.


HTC is looking to catch up in the smartphone race greatly with its next flagship, codenamed M8. The handset reportedly offers a premium build quality with its slim wraparound metal body. The 5-inch smartphone supposedly packs inside a 2K resolution of 2048 × 1080 pixels. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 2.2 GHz 800 processor along with a 3 GB RAM apparently power the unit along with Android 4.4 KitKat and Sense 6.0. The handset most definitely houses an Ultra Pixel camera and rumour has it it even sports the ability to take 3D snapshots. Obviously, the phone comes with a fingerprint sensor too.

Nokia Lumia 1820

Nokia is rumoured to provide its new imaging flagship metallic unibody design and a Lytro-style camera that enables users to change the focus once they have clicked a photograph. The Lumia 1820 is run by Windows Phone 8.1 and it is believed to come with Microsoft's Siri-like personal assistant Cortana built-in. We predict to see a Full HD display and a strong processor on the device too.

BlackBerry Z50

BlackBerry is looking to win a few hearts of their own with its next flagship, the BB Z50 touch phone. The Canadian tech giant is reportedly prepping its newbie for a late 2014 release and it has given it a large 5.2-inch screen having a Full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Though very little about the handset is known as yet, it's believed to run on a quad-core processor and will also be powered by BlackBerry's newest and most improved operating-system at the time of its release.

Samsung's Establishment

On the other hand, Samsung seems prepared to stay at the top of its game next year too. Aside from the Galaxy S5, it is supposedly prepping a less expensive, less powerful version of the most popular Galaxy Note 3 phablet. Developed in black and white variants, the Galaxy Note 3 Lite is considered to pack in a 5.49 or perhaps a 5.7-inch LCD display with an 8-megapixel camera.
